The RAW food meals are a relative newcomer, and there are many ideas on the subject. I do not profess to own all the answers. I am not a physician, nor a nutritional expert. Some proponents say it is the Healthiest strategy to live, and cite many wonderful unwanted effects, like weight loss and clear skin, not to mention a Healthier body. Detractors say it is usually risky, that you do not get enough B12 and other vitamins and that some things will be more dangerous you can eat raw. Proponents claim that raw foods have an overabundance vitamins and enzymes intact for the body to assimilate. Detractors repeat the body has all the enzymes it needs to digest foods.
My personal opinion and mine only, are these claims. Pharmaceutical companies will isolate one particular component from a plant, with all the idea that this component may be the one thing inside the plant that is of real benefit. More often than not, that component, singly, will not likely work as well like one used the complete plant. Doctors will prescribe drugs to generate one feel great. We continue all sorts of Diets; some which might be really unHealthy. When it all comes down to it, uncooked vegetables and fruit, seeds and nuts are Healthy. We are urged daily to consume more fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, leave off every one of the processed foods. What is the difficulty?

I drink my coffee black and plain, so no sugar there either.
If there is complaint concerning the benefits of meat, well, I am utilized to listening to my body system. Indiscriminately downing meats daily is not my preference anytime. When I crave something, I know that my body system needs it. Approximately once every three or four weeks I craved meat. I would eat one small portion, about 3 to 5 ounces of your medium rare steak, and immediately the craving was gone and I had no downside to it for the next few weeks. I understand this has not been 100 percent RAW, nevertheless it was enough to hold me feeling in optimal condition, without causing any spike in weight or glucose. I am 62 years of age. I did this when he was 60. I haven't managed to discover a time to start it up again, though I would, and would recommend it to anyone not feeling up to par, even when just to find out how good you can feel, to get that comparison to go by.

Makes 25 balls, about 48 calories apiece
1 cup pecans, finely ground
1 cup dates, packed tightly
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons agave nectar
3 packets sweet leaf stevia (or approximate)
3 tablespoons powered cocoa, for dredging
2 packets sweet leaf stevia, for dredging
Combine first 5 ingredients in a very food processor and blend until smooth and balled-up. Form into about 25 small balls about 1-inch in diameter, and after that roll these into a mixture of these tablespoons cocoa powder mixed with all the 2 extra packets of stevia. Keep refrigerated.
